Hey, I wrote a novel. It's about all the friends I discovered in New Zealand after running away from New York at twenty. They were so hilarious I was heartbroken at the thought that they would get old and die and only I would know how awesome they were. So I dedicated the next six years to tying that in with the dreaminess of New Zealand, the callousness of New York and the beautiful loneliness that causes us to make art.

Some people have been asking about it so I started making up a couple books out of ribbons and fabric to pass around friends. People didn't want to give them up, so now I'm making a couple more and sending them out through my website. You hear that, Aunt Gladys? You can finally read it. Yes, I really wrote a novel. I haven't just been hanging out in New Zealand.

Though I have been doing a lot of that.

Twenty dollars covers the costs of printing and binding and sending it anywhere in the United States.

So that's what it costs to get a copy.

Sweet.
